worryingly, the energy to implement the reforms that have been agreed as well as other reforms that we need are fading in little bit. and i am often asked and i am sure the some of the central bankers and providers are asked the same question. are we now better off than five years ago? probably so. are we out of the loop? do we have everything we need in terms of assistance, in terms of detecting the systems? most people, supervisors in particular, and certainly the imf would say not yet despite major progress. i know all of these seem a little bit bleak. but let me assure you that we have not overlooked the reaction to recent policy announcements. and those are strong and good positive reactions. but we have seen positive market response of before that turned out to be short-lived. this time, what we need is not bounce.balance we need a sustained rebound. to be different, we need certainty more than uncertainty and we need decision makers to turn into action takers. it will require courage and the ability to rise above the short- term agenda of the domestic boundaries. in that context

no. 1, we have so much energy in this country. let's get that energy in this country, create jobs. that will build prosperity. oil, gas, coal, nuclear, renewables, all of the above. the obama administration is standing in a way of what could be a promising explosion of energy. we have so much oil and gas because of new technology that we know how to get without harming the environment. this puts people to work and creates manufacturing jobs. it lowers gas prices. it lowers the cost to heat your home in the winter, to cool it in the summer, the electricity we pay. that means your paycheck goes farther. people living on fixed income have more income to live on. this is important. with an energy policy like the keystone pipeline, opening our land for development, we can stop sending our money to the middle east. it helps our economy and paychecks.
